I've been leaning into using RSS as my main news source for a few years now. Totally agree that it makes the web bearable.

I also like this as a way to "subscribe" to small blogs and sites that are less likely to show up in my typical social media or news feeds. That's actually why I made my own RSS feed at https://www.gross.sh/rss.xml (probably broken, because insist on doing everything myself, manually, in the simplest way I can 😅)
