I think i'm done with Mastodon for now, i'll keep my account running and check back every now and then but there's a few reasons:

1. I'm seeing occasional posts, but nooone's engaging with each other

2. had my knuckles wrapped with a pretty direct "we don't allow generative content" warning and was branded as a spammer - this didn't land well and I feel a bit dismissed

I'm doing pretty well on other platforms so I'll just redirect my energy for now

I create and maintain virtual social spaces on Horizon Worlds and Banter

Coming from a 20+ year career of mostly backend programming, my current active ones are Typescript, Unity Visual Scripting, Powershell and Horizon Codeblocks

I also use Blender 3D a lot

I do run a daily UK & European evening venue called The White Lotus for people aged 25+

Free & open to everyone on web/mobile and VR with the link in my bio if anyone's feeling social

I also run a busy youtube channel

I have noticed that engagement on Mastodon is non existent compared with other platforms

Is this some kind of shadow ban or is there literally noone actively using this?

Interested in connecting/interacting with other VR programmers & designers
