Oh hey, good policy! New Canadian Bill-C25 formally bans donations by cryptocurrency.
"Violators who knowingly accept crypto donations face fines reaching twice the value of the offending contribution. Corporations involved in these activities face an even stiffer penalty: an automatic $100,000 fine in addition to the double-value penalty."

"Microsoft 365 has more than 450 million paid commercial seats. After roughly two years on the market, Copilot has converted approximately 15 million of them into paying users. That's a 3.3% conversion rate, at $30 per user per month, generating roughly $5.4 billion in annual revenue. That's less than what Microsoft spent on infrastructure in a single quarter (3)."
None of the numbers make economic sense.

My browser extension StopTheMadness Pro stops autoplaying videos and hides Sign in with Google on all sites. It also hides sticky videos and notification requests on many sites.
For more extreme measures, try my Safari extension StopTheScript. It kills JavaScript dead on websites you select. For example, from the blog post, it makes The Guardian readable.
