In the process of searching for Pocket and cleaning up my room as I go, I found a high school library receipt stashed in a stand for fancy markers. Looks like I was reading the #Abhorsen books.

Also "Boy Apprenticed to an Enchanter", "Wizard in the Tree", and "Dragon's Gold". I don't remember any of those, except possibly Dragon's Gold, which feels vaguely familiar in the way you vaguely remember food poisoning when eating something you avoided for a while. Guessing I didn't like that one.
