Dr. Roy Schestowitz (罗伊)Just came back from #maplin in Town. It's shutting down. I've bought stuff there since my teenage years. First #microDirect goes bust, now this shop. Closing down sale; looked for half an hour, found nothing I need.

penguin42@schestowitz No, I've not been finding stuff either (I went around the 3 around the centre); prices were still silly on most stuff last week. But heck, Microdirect was some time ago now!
@penguin42 Yeah, I'm naming the ones that have memories associated with them. The store told me they're not sure when they shut down and how prices will change.
@schestowitz Yeh last week, I heard one of them say they were on 7 days notice and hadn't been given it yet.
