I really wish there were cooperative alternatives for all of the goods and services I spend my money on.

Switching from a corporate bank to a credit union? Easy(ish).

Trying to find a cooperative gas station, veterinary clinic, utility company, and housing? Hahahaha.

@christianbundy #housingcoops really vary by location - there are some places where they abound, and others where they are super scarce. The presence (or lack thereof) of a strong #landtrust/#housingtrust seems to be a major factor in US communities.

@christianbundy Probably the most comprehensive national-level resource on housing co-ops in the US (though more focused on student co-ops) is #NASCO: https://www.nasco.coop/resources
