Ok, I’m actually a bit confuse by the filtering language in this setting. If I select “English”, does that mean it will be selected from the feed to show ONLY English posts or does it mean English posts will be filtered from the main feed and NOT shown to me?

IMHO, I think this should either say something like “Only show me posts in the languages selected below” or “Do not show me posts in the languages below.” #MastodonUX

@ChipRoberson Definitely. I don't really get the "instances" concept, either. It just confuses me. Or what the difference is between Local and Federated timelines. I miss the "translation" button for foreign language posts that is available on FB and Twitter.

Ugh, I wish we could edit posts as I realize the screen grab with the Language drop down menu visible is misleading. I was trying to grab a small image but talk about all the checkboxes.
