Bwaaaah I have songs from #Shul stuck in my head and I can't find anything on YT or iTUnes that remotely resembles the way it sounds in my head so I just have to be sad until Shabbat ;____; Especially Siman Tov u'Mazal Tov from the couple birthdays we celebrated last week it's SUCH A HECKIN' CUTE SONG OH MY GD #jewish

and now i'm extra sad bc the #jewish hashtag here is p empty and twitter-side it's too dangerous so I'm like extra isolated on weekdays now blargh
which is gonna be extra hard when I go for surgery next week and have to miss #shul for a week or two post-op

@janLute Yeah, that's the one :D It's so great when we sing it since our cantors and like half the congregation are like incredibly good singers. Maybe when I'm off I can record the livestream even if the speakers suck... 🤔

@stitchfeather the weirdest is how every tune is slightly changed from congregation to congregation. even me and my rabbi have variations on the same tunes for some prayers, where I'd heard the song more at my youth group or something. It'd be interesting to hear how it's different in ur community!

@janLute Yes! I've only been going a couple weeks but our usual cantor was on vacay last Friday and all our songs completely changed 😂 and I was just starting to get the hang of it hahah

A whole room of Jews?
Literally any song will be like that bit in Harry Potter where everyone sings the hogwarts song to whatever tune they want and they all finish at completely different times but it's still great
