Well, that was an unexpectedly exciting (and not in the good way) evening last night. Good job NHS for having an "is this actually a medical emergency?" line that will send a paramedic out to you if things sound serious enough. Apparently anything involving blood and airways is "serious enough" even if it's just bad acid reflux causing esophageal bleeding.

In other news, time for me to schedule an endoscopy.
