Good morning Mastodon! How are you doing today?

I've been getting back to Guild Wars 2, I forgot how beautiful everything is. It would be easy enough just to walk around for hours on end just to marvel the amount of work put into the environment. Then I remember how long it takes to craft some things (like legendary weapons) and get a bit depressed. More coffee helps. ☕

@wishx Cool - I knew Ethereum sounded familiar! It's one of the projects Red Hat is looking to use with OpenShift. I've been recently reading about some of the organisations and projects for blockchain in finance, e.g. R3 and Hyperledger.

@turumore It's taking off at a breakneck speed lately with everyone going, "Hey, this blockchain thing can solve all the world's problems, apparently. Let's do it too!"

@wishx Absolutely. Lots of hype around it too, so I'm keen to see the growth and real world applications. Definitely something to follow.

@turumore Thankfully, there's a ELI5 thread about it on Reddit. I'm getting tired of breaking it down for people who aren't even that computer savvy and only vaguely interested, let alone take it upon themselves to read up on it.
