And y'know, Librivox actually sounds like something I'd REALLY love. I just need to buy a compressor before-hand.

If I get REALLY expressive (which I know I will) my volume will be painstaking to fix in post, especially if I'm spending hours and hours recording a full audiobook.

Do you know the limitations on the kinds of books I can record?

@BNolet also, you can specify the estimated time (of finishing), so you can can do a chapter a day (or less if you wish) which takes around 30 mins, so there is basically no rush.

@miwilc I'm pretty versed in Audacity at this point, and I mean if I have to do public domain books, I'm not really that interested anymore :/

Open-Source books are pretty cool but I'd rather spend my time editing a podcast than an audiobook.

I appreciate the suggestion though!
