Iâm sure the Mormons are going to love that.
I donât know if anyone has ever attempted, in their misspent youth, to try and tell Mormon missionaries that theyâre not Christian, but they donât generally enjoy it, in my experience.

Lol they kept Christian Scientist. The sect with less than 50k people in the US.
Meanwhile, and far more importantly than Mormons feeling vaguely slighted, they dropped Native American religions from the list entirely. This article from native news online says the DoD claims 19% of all native Americans have served in the military. Not all of them will be part of the Native American religions category, obviously, but there are probably more of them than there are Christian Scientists. Cultural erasure continues.

On this Veterans Day, communities across Indian Country are honoring the thousands of Native American and Alaska Native men and women who have servedâand continue to serveâin the U.S. Armed Forces at rates higher than any other racial or ethnic group.
More important are the 180 religious faiths that were dropped from the list, making over two-thirds of the new list just Christian denominations.
Also, if âagnosticâ is on the list, then âatheistâ should be too.
