In the UK at least food is really cheap. But housing costs an absolute fortune in comparison.
Because housing is still allowed to be a plaything an investment for the (foreign) rich.
More than that, they make living in a temporary structure nearly impossible to do legally.
Why do I need their fucking permission to live in a cabin out in the woods. I could build the cabin completely legally, the only part I canโt do legally is live in it.
