I liked it though I don't fully understand what it's about yet
I understand its general historical context but not what it means that the protagonist is Black.
The movie depicts the Ganim, an Arabian tribe, as predominantly Black too.
Articles explaining why it's a flop make no mention of of anti-Black Saudi sentiment:
