but at least the setting stops the loop and makes some pages viewable without using something like ublock
(I'd like the *option* to see it once; blocking it will do. but even when opening only the gif, it won't show the animation. oh well. I'll miss some minor parts of some explanations then)
is this a mostly #neurodivergent thing? can most users simply read pages with incessant animation on them? because I can't.
and the offhand way in which the simple option to stop it is not offered smacks of "I can't see the problem" or "this only affects a few, so it doesn't matter".
