because I keep biting off more than I can chew. I wanted to release a small utility first to get familiar again with #GNOME / #GTK / #Flatpak development.

also something that I need myself. a week worth of hacking.

@hbons Congrats!!! 🎉
@hbons congratulations! Thanks for sharing that review thread, reading through it was very interesting and illuminating.
@shom lucky to be a tagged "easy" review. :P
@hbons because of the work you put in ahead of time and sharp focus on app scope. Well deserved mate, celebrate the win!
@shom cheers! killing features is my passion. ;)

@hbons Congrats!

Both for making it into Circle, but also for that hilarious name.

@fmuellner @hbons I think I have said it before, but one of the best names ever! Hahah
@fmuellner @hbons congratulations
I did not had time to look but can Bobby be embedded? Can rust be introspectable?
@xjuan @fmuellner you mean you want a libbobby? I think so with some work.
@hbons @fmuellner yes! Exactly I would like to use it for debugging cambalache data model witch is a in memory swlite db
@xjuan @hbons @fmuellner I’m about to drop a libgom 2 and while it has entity mapping, it also has models for describing and viewing existing data with lazy models and all that. Also has python integration for it and for libdex. Probably this week, just putting finishing touches on it

@hbons

What is the difference between

GNOME
and GNOME Circle?

@mondstern Circle apps are 3rd party but align closely with GNOME design patterns: https://circle.gnome.org
GNOME Circle

Applications and libraries extending the GNOME ecosystem.

@hbons congrats! I used bobby a lot in my data science coursework to quickly look at SQL databases I was working with, and it's very fast and easy to use!
@hbons congratulations! 🥳
@hbons Congrats 😺
Minor issue: The "Contribute" link on gnome circle leads to a 404.
