@djoerd Yes. We started on launch day, and we've played almost every single day since! (Except when we couldn't because of travel or what-not.)
Every day, we both do a tour to clean up the 4 fossils, 15 branches and 2 weeds, and to give a gift to every villager whose photo we don't have. Once we both do, they can be swapped out for another!
(Yes, there is a spreadsheet...)
I estimate we have another 5 years to go before we "finish" the game like this...
@djoerd But after 6 years, it's become a little daily ritual, those 15 minutes of relaxing busy-work. Often to transition from the workday to the evening.
@heinragas When we played it overhere, I would sometimes laugh out loud at what I thought was ironic criticism of capitalism, with my family replying: "what are you *talking* about, Djoerd?"
@djoerd Oh yes, people like to hate on Tom Nook because he holds your mortgage, but I feel like he is providing housing to all within the context of the system that has all of us captured.
