@rjhale1971 Mapbox was all the rage. Mapbox was cool. But we were also cool, or at least aspired to be cool. I know I did.

@AtanasE We were cool. We had these new things called openstreetmap, twitter, and a whole host of open source tools....boundless....... Here we are - the old jaded people.

I don't know who Gunderson is, but getting a side eye from any of the big talking heads is worth some kind of award :)

(maybe I'm seen as a big talking head. That'd be weird since I've been fenced out of geo-anything for so long...)

As for side eye, definitely @IvanSanchez should get an award for being banned to use their maps for the glorious what3fucks location service a few years ago 🤭
