I was reading a blog from engineers who worked on comms for the Emergency Services in Britain during 20th century.
A lot of the radio repeaters still used valves for the endstage, about 4 * 4CX250B which got hot and had a big heatsink and a ventilator fan with chimney - and engineers from Kippax in Yorkshire said they put their pies on top of ventilator duct to keep them warm 😁

When I was a delivery driver, I used to put my meat pie, wrapped in foil in the engine bay.
When I would go hiking, I would park facing north and put my pastie on the dashboard.
When I would get back from my hike on a sunny day, I would have a warm pastie ready for eating.
Now I have a 12V oven. I just need to find a way of making it more efficient, without causing a fire hazard. Maybe I can mount it in a drawer, packed with some sort of insulation.
I know about the voltage boosters.
