What if the Boomers are mostly retired now, and there is actually some secret group of, like, 45-60 year-olds in between Boomers and Millennials that are quietly running things from the shadows‽
@Neat_hot what would we call such a secretive and mysterious, possibly imaginary, generation?

@http_error_418

Did you ever see that show on the Fox network about the FBI agents who investigate paranormal stuff? I'm thinking something like, "Generation Fringe."

@Neat_hot @http_error_418 There's no such group - it's a figment of people's imagination!

@HollieK72 @http_error_418

I know it sounds crazy, but just mathematically speaking, there is an unaccounted gap there.

@Neat_hot I’ll have to talk to my mom about this…

SHE’S ONE OF THEM!!!

@Neat_hot Thank you for at least getting the fucking dates right. Dingalings calling us late-70s babies “Millennials” feels almost as bad as being forgotten altogether.

@Neat_hot

I can confirm I'm not running anything, either from the shadows or in broad daylight.

@Neat_hot you wouldn't call them the Bilderberg Orquesta now wouldn't you?
@barrionomia
I know I wouldn’t. Maybe the BrianSetzerberg Orquesta.
@Neat_hot Sounds like some X-Files shit

@Neat_hot Statistically, we (Gen-X) were never a large enough cohort to make that much of a difference, though we do have plenty of representation in present-day govt.

What's important to know is that generations don't actually matter. There were prohibitionists centuries ago, and there are neo-Nazis right now who aren't old enough to drink. Every generation has heroes and villains.
