I just did a cursed thing.

Running ChimeraLinux Live base image under Sylve in a bhyve VM on FreeBSD that's running inside a VM on a OpenMediaVault (Linux QEMU/KVM) Installation

@TheOneDoc thanks for mentioning slyve, am going to be running some services for student groups and we wanted to go with FreeBSD as a host pretty much just because of the ZFS support. looks super useful.
@novet it's very easy to run. If you ever had run proxmox you'll easily find your way around.
@TheOneDoc am currently trying to set up a test VM to see how it all works and if it suits our needs :)

@TheOneDoc okay there are a few things i am not too keen on. one seems to have been fixed but really shouldn't have been a thing anyways: root shell given to any user, including non-root PAM accounts(!). and the other is just setting a password for the admin account without the need for a `config.json` which is meh because you can change the password but it's just finicky.

also had an issue with libvirt so couldn't run any VMs for proper testing. will likely need to run on some actual hardware lol. it seems promising but i'm not sure if i'd currently adopt it. the lead dev seems pretty responsive which is a pretty good signal too.
