TL/DR= Don't be a prick. If an evac alarm goes off, leave the building instead of sitting around chatting.
On behalf of all who work/ed in service jobs, we'd prefer you *not* ignore the deafening klaxon going off and continue shopping/eating/gossiping while staff try to evacuate the store or cafe or whatever.
If you die in a fire you could have left, that's on you. But we'd rather you didn't take us with you bc we were still trying to usher you out.
