Today sees the start of the
@[email protected] men’s domestic season as the Raiders take on the strikers in the emerald challenge at Malahide.

Raiders have won the toss and are going to be batting first.

Raiders reach lunch on 106/3. Lots of players getting in, but the Strikers keep taking wickets.
Strong wind blowing across the ground, making it feel quite cold even in the sun....
Raiders finish the day on 203/4, with the innings being held together by an excellent fifth wicket partnership between Campher and Tucker.
Day 2 is due to start at 11am tomorrow weather permitting.
Lots of grey clouds at Malahide this morning, although the covers are off and I’m hopeful that we will be getting away on time today.

#cricketRaiders are bowled out just before the Lunch break for 292. Feels like a par score on this wicket which does have some variable bounce.
Strikers might not have Stirling to bat, as he only fielded for two over yesterday and is away for a scan on a tight calf.
