Starting a thread on my recent visit to #PetrifiedForest #NationalPark.

For starters it was very windy as you can see in this photo.

This is a "drive thru" park with one long road going north-south. I entered the less used southern entrance, visited a nice little museum, and started my tour with the #CrystalForest trail.
