I'm wondering if it's just my office layout or if it happens to anyone else too.

MS Teams will blur out the ears on my Razer Kraken headphones as if they were part of the background / chair headrest, unless I put my hands behind them and cup them.

How am I expected to be taken seriously at work if my glowing cat ears aren't visible?

#Teams #Razer #Kraken

@avatastic No, that's because the cutout filter is designed to barely exceed human rounded heads.

- You may want to use #v4l2loopback + #OBSstudio with a #GreenScreen to manually add a different background and pipe that in as #Webcam footage.

This is how a lot of folks do it...

@F3715H that sounds like a lot of work (and I'm using Teams under Windows for work ) maybe tidying the office behind me so I don't need to blur it would be easier...

(The technical info is useful though, thank you)

@avatastic then the setup with #OBSstudio should be even easier as you don't need to fiddle in the #v4l2loopback device...
