Fun fact: When I was club secretary, we had the head groundsman of The Oval over as a consultant to advise our groundsman about square prep and maintenance.

@ianRobinson It was interesting to be able to walk on the outfield and get quite close to the pitch yesterday. It looked a little green. But proved to be hard work for the bowlers.

@ianRobinson My bald pate was covered throughout and I wore a long sleeved shirt and I don't do shorts so it's all fine apart from a little colour on my neck.
