@tindie So #SupplyFrame have no interest now in Tindie? Was about to start emailing their directors.
The transition teams have royally screwed up - new owners have pretty much burnt all goodwill #Tindie still had remaining.
Trust is gone.
What about all the payouts many sellers are owed?
And even though all agreed the old site had issues - why not keep it going until new platform ready?
Absolutely no one does web development like this. Well except...
Did SupplyFrame sell it for a $1?
@tindie Why on earth wouldn't you just email the sellers
Why does this statement expire in 6 days when the downtime could clearly exceed that
Why wouldn't you build a new site in parallel while operating the old one like everyone else does
Who are the new owners
@tindie wow, that's wild. They say trust is earned, the new owners of #Tindie have dug themselves into a hole they'll have a hard time coming back from.
How and when will people get their money back (I guess buyers can go to PayPal but that's not going to work for sellers)?
Can the new owner please identify themselves or do we need to contact them through the registered agent?
@tindie
IMPORTANT QUESTION
Is “Tindie” a legal entity in itself, with which sellers had, and maintain, a contract, but just under new ownership (shareholders).
I.e. is payout of balances and refunds actually enforceable against “Tindie”?
Or is “Tindie” just a brand and a code base and so the new owners don’t actually have any contract with existing sellers and customers? If so, who is the previous contracting party, which sellers can now sue for pay out? Or is it dissolved?
We need to know.
@tindie I see the reply on support tickets says:
"Tindie is a brand of Supplyframe Inc."
Is that still the case? or is the email lying to me?
@tindie This is bad decision making by the new owners, which makes me not trust them going forward.
Immediately breaking the site with no notice, trapping sellers money and stopping them from shipping inspires zero confidence in their ability to run the site well going forward.
I'm sorry the new owners have put you in this situation Alexander.
