@trecartin Ottawa airport is very popular for mid-day practice approaches in the summer. Kinda glad this one is using the other runway.
@johnefrancis how can you tell which runway is using? The image seems lined up with one I expect to see a plane use most of the time.

@mlevison @trecartin it's lining up with the slightly longer of Ottawa's 2 runways, 14/32...approach heading 320....because the wind is out of the NW today.

In other winds, almost everything will use 07/25, including C-17's...it's plenty long enough for them.

Only some very rare planes need all 10000ft of 14/32...full 747s and giant cargo planes.
