because treason DOES confer guilt by association under US law

@bweller Who knew that democratic government always relied on the social contract that, ultimately, even the leaders would *let themselves* be be held accountable? We have certainly learned it in the US over the past decade.

@bweller I was just watching Silicon Valley (again) with my wife where one CEO fired an entire team and then goes on to talk about how he holds himself accountable... which means he does absolutely nothing.

I've seen it in life in the private sector (😂🤣🫠 Marc Benioff after 2020 to name just one) and we see it with this particularly evil ass clown now.

When you hold the power, who holds you accountable unless you offer up some of that power?
