Madison #KMSN took at hit lat night with all the severe thunderstorms. I dont know if it got hit directly by a tornado but the radar room is damaged and off line. Limited services are going to be provided but unlikely any VFR flight following for some time.

Madison Tower is back up and running. So mostly normal ops I expect now. Hearing all areas (Clearance, Ground, Tower, Approach/Departure) and hearing them give flight following so that is good.

Follow up, last night I wanted to do 3 night landings and for various reasons that did not work out. However it is clear they are not back 100% yet, they had 1 person running Clearance, Ground, Tower, and Approach. Early in the day it was 2 (normally 3) so thinking they are doing Approach from the tower for now, not sure. Expect delays.
