This is part of the first of two rolls of #StreetCandyATM400 I ended up with as part of a large film purchase. No idea what to expect, except not much! Think I got a bit more than that. Generally lots of grain, poor definition. I used EI 250, and just for weirds added a red filter.

So, after the Mono March excellence, back to the first film I finished this year. These photos were actually taken shortly before Christmas 2025, during one of our periodic floods, when the "ford was up". This is quite often entertainment for locals when vehicles get stuck. Flood starting, and a day or so later.

Windows in the keep. This 900 year old building has 12 foot thick walls: the reason you can see through these windows is that the far wall was demolished ("slighted") by Parliament after the 17th century Civil War., so that it could no longer be used as a stronghold. #FensterFreitag #WindowFriday

The Stone House. A rambling building, the front part allegedly built in the 1750s for a retired sea captain, hence the boat-shaped roof. The courtyard was the site of a thriving horn comb industry. Used to be the home of Dudley Taylor, who built a national pharmacy chain from here.

@ewen Thanks Ewen. Basic camera with a nice Tessar 50/2.8 lens, no meter, negs had 20 years of judicious neglect in the loft of our Adelaide house, so pure luck, really!
I was working in Sofia, Bulgaria at the time, and some of the embassy staff suggested taking the Western Easter weekend down in Greece. It was an extraordinary experience. I remember the great change in relative wealth across the border (painted houses!). But the Colonels were in charge...
