The last time I bought #coffee was January 3, when I paid $16.98 for a 40 oz. bag of beans, or 42.5¢/oz, for Eight O'Clock The Original Whole Bean.

Today, the same coffee is $20.12 for a 30 oz. bag, or 67¢/oz. That's an increase of 58% in just over 3 months. It is no longer available in 40 oz. bags, at all.

@gcvrsa
My 8 o'clock bean coffee is right at $1 an ounce. And it's usually cheaper than any of the other premium brands
@dendari Yes. That's the coffee I'm talking about. Eight O'Clock The Original Whole Bean.
@gcvrsa I buy my coffee beans green and roast them myself. Luckily I was able to purchase more than a year's supply before the price skyrocketed. Green coffee frequently costs less than half of those already roasted and puts you in control of the freshness of the brew you drink.
