Super rainy day here. I ended up pulling a 12+ hours work day yesterday & was fully spent by end of the night.
I slept in today. Then, decided to make the most of an indoor day & got some more food plant seeds started, in zipped plastic bags.

@PhoenixSerenity

Do the seeds sprout when zipped up in the bags, or have I got confused?

You look to have some good food coming

@StingrayBadger Yes, this is a good way to test your seeds for germinating rates too. I do this method, direct sowing & cold stratification too. I use a combo of different seed starting ways. I recommend this method if you don't have a lot of great soil/have limited soil available. You only plant seeds that have sprouted in bag & it saves you from using soil on seeds that won't germinate.
@StingrayBadger I've been growing food since age 7 when my patriarch Grandma gave me my first food garden plot in early 80s πŸ’šπŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎ I've grown food - every single place I've lived since then. Including when I only lived in small apartment with a small balcony deck. I covered the whole deck with food & edible flowers plants ☺️
@StingrayBadger I grew food from a small bachelor basement suite, decades ago too. Herbs & salad greens by all windows & I used an old reptile tank light for my indoor container potatoes & tomatoes. I used reflective emergency camp blanket to create an indoor grow station.
