Hey, this is a long shot, but mastodon seemed to really pop off with followers when I joined; does anyone have any contact with WKSU here in Ohio? I live right up the street from their studios, and I really appreciate NPR and everything they've done, I'd be honored to give them an exclusive interview if they'd want me.
I've got other offers right now, and I'll talk to whoever if it gets the word out, but it'd be really cool to cross "be on NPR" off the bucket list lol

Too much focus on bad tech or best tech...
we need people with people, increasing #trust and #collaborating (not on money projects) but really understanding / #teaching #PEOPLE (accept working with different types instead of perfection or Tech focus)

The right idea is talking with the people (I think "Citizen Journalism" is similar / better perhaps).
A ground level response (not always in person but can be online via audio chat also)
#CitizenJournalism has been great for taking best bits from people reactions or as best examples of good / bad bits in life and *importantly* our feelings...
Feelings, the system doesn't want (so it's a great service #CitizenJournalism gives + we need feelings)
