@vrtxd What about Tetris-blocks?
Tetris effect - Wikipedia

@vrtxd I am in this Wikipedia article and I like it

@nihkeys I remember back when playing Tony Hawks Pro Skater games, all the ramps, wall jumps, grinding angles etc in irl urban environments would just become instantly salient to me. Later on Pokemon Go similarly transformed the way people observe city surroundings and even other people in those spaces. I just noticed a PG battle at a park earlier this spring and I don't even play the game

@vrtxd I used to look at cityscapes differently after playing Assasins Creeds. "Oh, that looks like a nice surface to climb up" or "good egress point".

Also pretty much all optimisation/puzzle simulators get free meat-time in my brain if I get into them properly. It's.. nice?

@nihkeys Yeah, and it's not just about games, either. I can sometimes feel my brain hallucimulate search engine queries and social media feeds when I'm about to go to sleep. "Oh you're not online? That's okay, I'll pre-generate some potential scenarios in advance so you can make some informed decisions tomorrow" ðŸ§
