@benroyce people are apparently messaging the library for copies of my speech, and the library is supposed to remain a neutral political organization, I really did just wanna set it straight so they hopefully stay out of it. I love the library I work at, so I'd do anything to help it, but I want it to be clear that I'm speaking for me, not for the library, that's all!
@willsigg the library should understand. the only problem with fame is things start going jaggedy. just keep cool, focus on everything you did before the viral moment, stay centered. then consider "well i have a gift for gab." maybe try some outlets. social media obviously. but your biggest angle is you're sort of a local star now. so you can speak again when the time and the topic feels right. or rather than stay local stick to the AI topic and speak more broadly in the world on it. up to you!
@benroyce I've been invited to speak at the Twinsburg city council to give another speech by some local activists there tomorrow, so, let's see if I can't get another viral video in less than a week lol
I've also been contacted by a leftist magazine who want me to pitch them an article.
stay centered, stay cool. follow good leads, ignore bad leads. it's disruption for your life: good and bad. don't get jaggedy. if you work it right, be gracious to yourself and allow yourself some stumbles, and practice what works, after enough time, it will be a sustaining good
