Grumpy Old Techie 🕊️@ObsidianUrbex I had the opportunity of replacing similar electrical network and pipeline control systems with modern SCADA systems. The operators liked the overview the large panels gave at a glance. The big walls of instruments were replaced by large displays that gave the same info but there was also the ability to drill down into far more detail on a workstation that the modern system provided.
