It's nice when your work is recognized with an #award, especially if it is your first proper methods paper!!
We proposed a #mixedmodel based approach to information #sampling and #utilization (e.g., #advicetaking, #judgment) that overcomes artifacts and paradoxes built into classical approaches. Moreover, it is unbelievably flexible, and it can be used any time multiple pieces of information are combined into a single judgment.
Most of the merit goes to Tobias R. Rebholz, who was the driving force behind this paper. He invited me to collaborate on this, so I owe him all the fun I had while working on the project.
The paper was published when I was already at the University of #Basel, but it all started when we were at the University of #Tuebingen working with Mandy Hütter.
