#Trump says the #US Navy will ‘immediately’ begin a blockade of the #StraitOfHormuz

Trump posted Sunday on social media that the blockade would stop vessels from entering or leaving the strait.

Defending his planned #blockade, #Trump said that #Iran cannot control which ships go through the #StraitOfHormuz, declaring that either every ship should have safe passage or none would.

“We’re not going to let Iran make money on selling #oil to people that they like,” Trump said on FauxNews.

The blockade will be similar to what the US did with #Venezuela, though on a larger scale, Trump said, suggesting more tankers would come to the #US to buy oil as a result of the blockade.

@Nonilex it might be a good strategy for #Venezuela to declare the US Armed forces to be a terrorist organization. I can't say that I know anyone from Venezuela so I'm trying to put this strategy out somewhere.

I am certain that there must be some folks in #Venezuela that will never forgive our arrogance.

Why doesn't #SouthAmerica seem to have much in terms of its own #AIModels or #SocialMedia ? Who can help empower them in that way?

Arrogance?... I'm not sure what you talked about, but the US intervention had less of the consequences that I expected that would happen.
