Fair warning:
I went into #EvanEdinger's latest video thinking that it was going to be about some obscure centuries old legal quirk that still affects a modern street or something. I was very wrong. Too much Tom Scott, Chris Spargo, et al., I suspect.
It was actually about the politics of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, as have been going on since 2015, and which have made the pages of the Evening Standard, the Telegraph, Private Eye, and the Tower Hamlets Slice.
In amongst the politics, you can play a little game of bingo, and count how many times a cyclist in the background or in 'B' footage goes on the right-hand side of the bollard and cycles directly over the arrow and the sign going the opposite way for oncoming traffic.
Legally, keeping left applies to all road users that are riding any type of carriage whatsoever (which includes bicycles), and all highways. It's the famous Highway Act 1835 §78.
