A question for birdwatching friends who are also nerds:

I want to get a birdhouse cam. We have built birdhouses and would like to see what’s happening inside without interfering at all.

What cam would you get that can be properly secured, connects wirelessly on a secure local network (not streaming, no internet), doesn’t require changing batteries (disturbing the nest) and can be plugged in to a source of electricity. The birdhouse is attached to a barn with power and wifi. Will be purchased from source in Canada.

Advice very much appreciated!

I don't know, but if I was looking I'd go to https://www.nhbs.com/, at least to see what's reputable and available in the UK.

I use them for books and bits of kit now and then, and continue to do so.
