Harvest Malletus

Been really enjoying the EFHW antenna for sure! I'm coloring the markers by band now, 'cause that seems way more interesting. I'm especially happy to get Nova Scotia this weekend!

@harvestmalletus I was also trying out an EFHW yesterday. I wanted to try some different bands, but the way we had it tied off, the only way the coax would reach was it it connected through a 20m band pass filter!

@harvestmalletus SSB was rough, partly because the George QSO Party had the band full, and partly because I'm a newbie who's still working on my voice contact skills. After 5 contacts I switched over to FT8 just to complete the POTA activation. It was going like gangbusters and I ended up with 47 contacts! If you're interested, I posted my contact map earlier today.

@waltman Oh wow, that's a good haul! Yeah, I'll check out the map for sure! Ahh yeah, the QSO party. Yep, that was definitely a challenge hunting parks through all the overlapping signals.
