What I've been working on for the last week: A prototype for doing bringups of bus-based #FujiNet. Has RP2350 dev board to the bus edge connector at the bottom. ESP32-S3 dev board with microSD at the top. The two dev boards will communicate over USB using the new RS232/Fujiversal protocol. Lots of debug breakouts with LOTS of labels. Solder jumpers for modding. Edge uses ISA pinout; CoCo, MSX, etc. via trivial passive pin-swap adapters.

#TRS80CoCo adapter board routed. It's really ugly routing but everything is connected so good enough. #FujiNet #RetroComputing #VintageComputing #KiCad #Electronics
#MSX adapter board routed too. That push/shove thing in KiCad makes it easy but it also makes a mess. #FujiNet #RetroComputing #VintageComputing #KiCad #Electronics

I've put the files up on github. Completely untested, I'm sure there's gobs of mistakes. However I *expect* that the boards will need to be modified and tried to make doing that as easy as possible.

If you build this your computer will explode, your refrigerator will start cooking everything in it, and your television will only tune in to infomercials. 🤪

Added the RP2350 and soldered on the MSX adapter. Now to make it work! #TRS80CoCo #MSX #FujiNet #RetroComputing #VintageComputing #KiCad #Electronics
It's alive! For a while there I thought my #RaspberryPiPico Core2350B wasn't working. Turns out that setting things up needs to be a lot more explicit than it was on the RP2040. #TRS80CoCo #MSX #FujiNet #RetroComputing #VintageComputing #KiCad #Electronics
