Yo there @GrapheneOS, something has to be done about this social presence.

I like #GrapheneOS and want to follow along, but the daily wall of text with dozens of messages rehashing the same points re /e/ and friends is getting old. I'm sure I'm not alone. We get it. We know.

You need to do something for the people that already care. Put them first. Maybe split the debunking campaign out to a secondary profile or something like that, but stop burning the goodwill of people that already get it.

Given the official response to that seems to be an argument that it is necessary and blaming Mastodon threading instead of even considering backing off or acknowledging we may have a point it looks like I may have to unfollow as well.

Ich bin dem offiziellen GrapheneOS-Konto gerade entfolgt – nicht, weil ich das Projekt nicht schätze. Im Gegenteil: GrapheneOS ist im Bereich mobiler Sicherheit/Privacy weiterhin die beste Option. Was mich stört, sind die ständigen Seitenhiebe auf /e/OS, CalyxOS und andere Custom-ROMs - auch wenn die Kritik völlig legitim ist. Aber ich folge dem Account, um etwas über GrapheneOS zu lesen, nicht um regelmäßig zu erfahren, was andere in den Sand setzen.
