Well, that was interesting, in a Korean weird movie way.
I had to look away sometimes ( extreme violence)
There is also a sexual element to the whole story, so avoid if you are sensitive about that.
Glad I saw it, as it completely explains bits of 2.0 I didn't understand - the food on the floor, and why the end scenes were a different place. The tape reel is also part of film

Our TV has shadowing - it is all white snow

So I don't want to ruin the film if you are going to watch it. So stop now.

If you aren't going to watch it, continue to third section

Not ruining the whole plot, but the film has a significance to 2.0

It is a very violent film, but has a journey element. The hero travels through all the grief, finds the answer to the problem.

Then he is hypnotised so that all the bad past is gone, and he moves on to the next stage of life ( Chapter 2, a fresh start, where the woman in RED runs to him)

Also: the hero always won in all the past battles, despite being an unlikely character to win.

Daughter just messaged me & said, did you know it's a trilogy 😨

Managed to sleep ok by blocking #Oldboy out my mind

It seems there's not really a trilogy, but 3 similar films made around the same time... But I have dived into films made by Park Chan-Wook - despite being on a Jane Austen journey... Slight contrasts here.

Today is supposed to be about tidying up ( husband off to run Brighton Marathon) but I'm quite tired so... Let's see. #Sunday
