Saranno ancora loro due, Sinner e Alcaraz, a sfidarsi nella prima finale del 2026 che li vede scontrarsi sulla terra rossa di Montecarlo. Dopo la vittoria di Jan contro Zverev, poche ore dopo lo spagnolo ha battuto Vacherot strappando il secondo biglietto per l'ultima tappa del prestigioso torneo del principato di Monaco. Il campione in carica Alcaraz affronterà dunque l'altoatesino Sinner, nell'ennesima sfida fra numero 1 e 2 del ranking che stavolta vale la vetta della classifica mondiale.
