
⏰ After Hours (1985) is a neo-noir black comedy telling the story of a nightmarish odyssey through the crime-ridden streets of New York. A fever dream of a movie, it was directed by Martin Scorsese following the commercial disappointment of The King of Comedy (1982) as he struggled to secure production of The Last Temptation of Christ (1988).
