@BobLefridge
Oh... was checking that page, and only then found out that they will be changing the supplier of the antihistamines I get when I have them prescribed

@BobLefridge Note only one (or two? filter is misbehaving) of the meds on the page is affected by the "Middle East conflict", other meds listed there are just BAU issues which may be supply issues, discontinuations, brand changes, new look, etc.
(They manage so many meds there's always *something* where supply starts acting up and they have to look at alternative suppliers or alternative products with the same active ingredients.)
To be seen how long it remains only one, of course.
For sure, but we have to assume that most of our "war" shortages are yet to come. The joys of living in an unstable world.
I only discovered that Pharmac page today and bookmarked it as potentially handy. I found it via this RNZ story which is mainly concerned with Pharmac's lack of communication with pharmacies.
@BobLefridge I came across the page a couple of years ago in the context of estrogen shortages I think.
It's hard to tell from the RNZ story whether Pharmac is really not communicating with the pharmacies or if these particular pharmacies are not reading the communications that are there -- or if it's just that the situation is uncertain and these pharmacies are wanting more information than Pharmac is able to provide. (I've seen this last case in a lot of contexts so I incline to it as my initial hypothesis.)
