So: would it be realistic to find a mixer that can function as a live mixer, audio interface and control surface - with a sound quality good enough for studio recordings?

It could also be relevant with a mixer, where you could use the computer as a taperecorder and mix on the actually mixer - rather than in the box.

Or how would you make the easiest recording solution for a shared concerthall with various activities.

@mosgaard @elsemusic the routing on them is just a an I/o matrix so you can do whatever I think. Analog and USB input is interchangeable iirc. Sq is very good for portability and i/o compatibility. With a Dante card you’re pretty much set.
