The keyboard for the Amiga 1000 is also all done - opened every one of the keyboard switches and treated the corrosion on the contacts inside with vinegar. A few were ok, but most of them were quite bad. Soaking in vinegar for a few hours did the trick for most of them. Still had to replace a few. Thankfully it's still possible to get these switches! Treated the rust on the top plate and painted it black, and gave it all a deep clean. Now it's back together and working fine, can't be many of these keyboards left with surviving stickers to make a norwegian layout! #amiga #a1k #commodore #retrocomputing #keyboard
